
Rhea County put two teams in top 10

Spring City, TN — Walker Valley High School took home first and second place in the Watts Bar High School Tournament on a cold rainy day in the shadow of Watts Bar Dam. Corbett Sands and Lance Frazier brought home 22.12 pounds of bass for the championship total.
They also hooked the big fish at 9.38 lbs. Finishing second was Walker Valley teammates Alyssa Taylor and Luke Fraley with a weight of 20.62 pounds. Third place went to Sequoyah High School anglers Landry Cooper and Cameron Kirkland with weight of 18.75 pounds.
The event was sponsored by Denso and put on by Southeast/Tennessee BASS Nation High School/Youth- Southeast.
Rhea County had two teams finish in the top 10 with Bryar and Austin Goins finishing fifth and Brandon Isles and Ridge Boofer finishing tenth. For all Rhea County finisher check the chart below.
