U.S. Representative Dr. Scott DesJarlais (TN-4) views Dayton, TN as a special place and enjoys visiting his constituency here. The congressman had a busy day presenting flags to local schools Friday. Dr. DesJarlais also met with the Rhea County Hospital Board and a number of local physicians to discuss healthcare and the current state of the Obamacare rollout.
US Congressman Scott DesJarlais is hopeful that an agreement will be reached on the Farm Bill which is currently in committee. Dr. DesJarlais is also hard at work with fellow members of congress to put together a desperately needed balanced budget proposal. The upcoming year will be busy for the congressman as he continues working hard to reduce regulations for small businesses. There are still a lot of issues centered around the rollout of this unworkable healthcare law.
