Block Party to feature Wade Sims and The Last Band this Friday


The Dayton Thrive Communities Group invites everyone down to a Block Part that will be held Friday, April 19, from 7-9, at the Courtyard area beside Monkey Town Brewery on 1st Avenue in Dayton.

This event will showcase Wade Henry Sims and the Last Band and a creative area hosted by Paint the Town Pottery.

“This is our first “Pop-Up” event for the Thrive Communities Program. Our group will be hosting other events over the next few months. It will be fun for the community and we hope to gain insight as to was the community hopes to add to Dayton to enhance the overall quality of our beautiful town.”, said Jamie Ridley, Group volunteer.

Thriving Communities program is a community accelerator program designed to enhance leadership and community development throughout the region through creative placemaking.
