The Spring City Historical Museum & Depot Foundation elected officers for 2014. Jim Reed was elected President/Chairman with Silas Booker taking the V.P. position. Tammy Swafford was re-elected treasurer and Tonya Sorrow was elected secretary.

The Spring City Museum & Depot will again be presenting “Christmas on the Rails” with an emphasis on Memories of Christmas Past at the Museum Annex beginning Dec. 7 with the Grand Opening at 6 p.m. and will run through December 23. This event boasts an even larger model train display in the large front room along with Santa Clause every Saturday, and live entertainment with local royalty serving as hostesses and tasty treats at the grand opening.

This is a yearly event open to the public free of charge as a thank you to the community for their continued support of the Museum.
