Rhea Middle honors 8th graders, Drops match to Cleveland

Evensville, TN —  Rhea Middle School took time before Varsity game to celebrate the eighth graders who played their last home game for the Lady Eagles on Tuesday.  Rhea Middle now moves on to play in the SETAC post season tournament that begins on Thursday.

Rhea Middle played very close in first game against Cleveland before losing 25-21.  Second game Cleveland won 25-11.  In junior varsity action, Rhea Middle won 25-22 in game 1 but fell 25-7 in second game before Cleveland won a tight game with 15-13 win in game 3.  Lillie Burlingame won 4 of 5 serving opportunities to lead the Lady Eagles.  Eva McCray had 8 winners in 12 chances to lead the junior varsity in serving.
