Kevin Rothwell shots 42 for Eagles for medalist honors

Dayton, TN —  Last night, Rhea Middle golf hosted Athens City Middle at Dayton Golf & Country Club for a 9-hole match.  Rhea boys posted their second win of the season by a score of 205-223.   Kevin Rothwell shot 42 and was the boy’s medalist. Phillip Rogers and Austin Boofer had season lows with 49 and 56, respectively.   Athens City did not have an official team score, but Bevin Harrill of  Athens Middle School was the girl’s medalist with a score of 50. Rhea girls posted a team 113, led by Allyson Varner with a 56.

Rhea will travel to Lakehaven Golf Course to take on Meigs County on Monday, April 25th beginning at 4:30 PM.  Thanks to Rhea Middle Golf Coach Bill Chatting for the match summary.
