Dayton, TN — Registration is now open for the highly acclaimed Strawberry Golf Tourney to be held at Dayton Golf & Country Club on May 6-7.

“The tournament is a long time tradition of the Strawberry Festival,” says event chairman and avid golfer Paul Riggs.  “Over the years we’ve had some of the best players in the Chattanooga area attend.”

Riggs and organizers are working to see the event return to it’s former glory.

“We’re also showcasing the course which is in excellent shape,” adds Riggs.  “There are tremendous prizes and don’t worry it will be very fair with regards to handicapping.”

A set of steel shaft Ping G irons will be awarded to winners in each class, graphite for seniors. Second place finishers will win Ping G Drivers and Ping TR Cadence Putters will be awarded to third place finishers.

Attendees can expect many more prizes for the two-day event and can also expect a smooth well-run tourney.  Flights will be dividing into three championship flights with respective handicaps and two senior flights.

All flights are pre-flighted with 10-12 per flight.  Tourney starts at 9AM and 1:30PM shotgun starts both days.  Entry fee is $100, final sign-up date is May 4.

Registration includes cart for both days, green fees for Friday Practice round, and Happy Hour Lounge Prices.

To register, call Paul Riggs at (423)715-3992 or contact the Dayton Golf & Country Club at (423)775-2313.
