170 Runners Run in Funky Monkey Glow Run
Dayton, TN — 170 Runners participated in the Funky Monkey Glow Run on Saturday night at the Rhea County Community Center. The proceeds from the run were earmarked to benefit the Strong Kids and Families Campaign. Caleb Yawn was the overall 5K winner with a time of 20:00 minutes and Brandon Bishop logged the fastest One Mile Run time with time of 6:20 minutes. Rachel Jones of Dayton was the first place finisher for the ladies with time of 21:12 and Asia Holcomb finished second for the ladies with time of 22:15. Great run for this young 13 year old runner. Micah Hall and Keith Jones finished second and third for the men with Hall edging out Jones by just a few feet. Top 5 results for 5 K and 1 Mile below.
