Plans are complete for Sen. Yager’s 23rd Annual Community Chili Supper and Charity Auction

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.), November 9, 2016  — Plans for Senator Ken Yager’s 23rd Annual Community Chili Supper and Silent Auction are complete. The event will take place next Friday, November 18 in the Student Lounge at Roane State Community College from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. EST.

Congressman Chuck Fleischman and State Senator Randy McNally will join a host of state and local officials who will be celebrity servers at the event.  The Will Yager Trio will entertain.

Proceeds from the event and a silent auction will benefit the local Anti-Drug Coalition.

Tickets for the event are $5 at the door.  Admission for preschool age children is free.

Senator Yager served as Roane County Executive for 24 years (1982-2006).  He was elected in 2008 to Senate District 11 which includes Roane, Rhea, Scott, Morgan, Campbell, Fentress and Pickett Counties.  He was re-elected to a third term on Wednesday.
