Nokian Tyres CEO to kick off Safety Fest at Tailgate Party

Nokian Tyres to host second “Safety Fest” in Rhea County Nokian Tyres highlights its commitment to safety and Rhea County through tire education

Dayton, Tennessee – Nokian Tyres will host its second “Safety Fest” Sept. 28-29, inviting community members to meet the Nokian Tyres team and learn about tire safety.

Nokian Tyres CEO, Hille Korhonen, will help kick off the festivities at the Rhea County Golden Eagles tailgate party on Friday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. The Safety Fest will continue Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rhea County Welcome Center.

“As Nokian Tyres continues to grow its presence in Rhea County, we want to set an example in the community and emphasize the importance of proper tire care,” said Hans Dyhrman, director of marketing, Nokian Tyres. “We’re always working to ensure our commitment to drivers and tire safety is our top priority. We want to help community members in Rhea County feel safe and confident when getting behind the wheel.

On Friday, attendees can sign up for a chance to win a free set of Nokian Tyres’ products, with the winner being announced at halftime during the Golden Eagles game. Activities such as “Football Tire Toss” will be available at Saturday’s event, as well as another opportunity for attendees to win a free set of Nokian Tyres.

In addition to games, food and variety of prizes, representatives from Nokian Tyres will be available on both days to teach participants tire safety tricks including how to measure tread depth and check tire pressure. Some of the company’s latest products will also be on display, and those in attendance will be given special employee pricing on select Nokian Tyres products.
