Waffle House is a rapidly growing national restaurant chain that is adding Dayton, Tennessee, as one of it’s newest locations. Headquartered in Norcross, Georgia, Waffle House operates more than 1500 restaurants both company and franchise owned.

Waffle House offers good food accompanied by outstanding service at every location since it first opening in 1955. Every Waffle House is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The menu quality is consistent from location to location.

According to the Waffle House website customers can enjoy a sit down atmosphere with the speed and delivery found at fast food establishments. All food is cooked to order and served on real china from a kitchen that is in plain view of the customers. Menu favorites include but are not limited to waffles, omelets, patty melts, and t-bone steaks. There are also 15 value meals on the menu priced at $5.00.

Their bright yellow sign, which has become a familiar landmark along city streets and interstates, will soon greet customers at the Dayton location at 150 Able Drive, next to the Sleep Inn Hotel.

Michele Brown, an area Manager for Waffle House, says that she is excited about seeing this new location opening in Dayton. It’s such a great honor to be apart of this great community.

Waffle House, which is expected to employee approx. 30 individuals, will be taking applications and holding on the spot interviews for employment on Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 10 am until 2 pm, at the Tennessee Career Center located at 200 4th Ave, Dayton, TN. Positions available for employment will be for grill cooks, servers, and manager trainees.

The new Dayton location will be an individually owned and operated franchise restaurant. Currently under construction, the projected date for opening the restaurant will be late April or early May of this year.
