In the past week the Lady Eagles have proven they are the team that continues to dominate on the hardwood.

Lady Eagles faced off against deep rival Cleveland and their new coach Tony Williams. Coach Williams is the former High School boys basketball coach and the Rhea Middle School girls basketball coach. Before being the Head Coach for Cleveland Lady Raiders, Williams worked a season at East Hamilton.

With much emotion and history rooted in the teams history of playing against each other lacing up against a friendly friend that was once a man you called coach made the rivalry that much deeper. The Lady Eagles were up to the challenge.

As expected the game was so tight and going back and forth as Williams was prepared for what his old players were capable of doing. It was the Lady Eagles that was able to slip away with the victory of 78-72.
