Mrs. Katherine Logan age 91, of Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on July 29, 2019 in Dayton, Tennessee where she was surrounded by family. She was a member of the First Christian Community Church.
She is proceeded by her husband, John Logan; mother, Louella West; sister, Robbie Jean Wilkerson; two sons, Jerry Banks and Alburn Banks; and son-in-law, Lynn Matthew.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Sharp, Caroline Wilkerson, Janice(Charles) Smith, Diana(Rodney) Billups, Angella Banks Matthew, Lucinda Banks, Michael Banks, and Alonzo(Tamara) Banks. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; four nieces, Sondra Douglas, Belinda(Toney) Rogers, Debbie Gillespie, Faye(John) Goddard; two nephews, Dion Wilkerson, Ronald Barry Wilkerson as well as family members and friends.
Service will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 7p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Suttles, Rev. Johnson and Rev. Toney Rogers officiating.
Family will receive friends August 1, 2019 from 3p.m. to 7p.m. in the Chapel.
Interment will be on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
