James was a lifelong resident of Rhea Co., was a loving father, and grandfather. He worked at Robinson mfg. in the maintenanca dept., and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.He was preceded by his mother June Harris. He is survived by son Vince (Lindsey) Dill Soddy Daisy, Tn. daughter Vanessa Dill Chattanooga, Tn. father Don E. Hayes Illinois. brother Donnie Hayes Illinois two grandchildren one nephew. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am graveside at Montgomery cemetery with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. There will be no visitation.
