February Dayton Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month is Edward Jones who has been in Dayton since 2001. With 3 full time employees, Edward Jones offer investment services providing their clients with cus-tomized plans that organize, builds and protects their wealth.
When asked the most surprising thing about her business, Karen Boyd says the first thing is people think they do not have enough money to talk to her and most people haven’t adequately planned thinking they won’t live that long.
She states the best thing about being in the business is being able to help people reach their financial goals and to help protect their family assets in death or long term care illness. The hardest thing about this business is seeing people who didn’t prepare for their long term goals fail to provide family protection.
Karen’s closing remarks states, she and her support staff strive to help the serious long-term investor and is happy to report Edward Jones has been ranked #2 of the “Best places to Work” in Tennessee.
