Town of Spring City, TWRA & Watts Bar Lake Association Bring Rodeo

Spring City, TN —  Saturday, June 8, 2019 is free fishing day in Tennessee and even better it is the Chuck Copeland Fishing Rodeo day in Spring City.  Tennessee Wildlife Fishing Association, Town of Spring City and Watts Bar Lake Association team up to give kids 12 and under from around the area a chance to reel in some fish.  The fun begins at 9 am on Saturday, June 8th and continues until 12:00 pm. and will be held rain or shine.  Registration begins at 7 am.

There will be limited number of loaner rods, so please bring your own if you have one.  There will be plenty of food, drinks and bait for the kids as long as supplies last.   Free T-shirt and tackle boxes for participants.  As normal, there will plenty of door prizes.  If you have any questions, please call 423-476-1404.  Contacts for the event are Mike Jollay, Brandon Ragland and/or Perry Massengill.  Prizes will be given on a first come, first served basis and will be distributed while they last.  Huge assortment of gift cards to Zoo, Aquarium, Ripley’s Museum and others as well as a couple of real nice canoes and kayaks.

The Rhea County High School Fishing team will be available to help young anglers with fishing.
