Pumpkinfest is coming Wednesday through Saturday, October 23rd to 26th. The Fall Festival will offer lots of fun things for adults and children as we celebrate the Fall Season. Anna Tromahauser, Executive Director of MainStreet Dayton, is looking forward to another fun-filled PumpkinFest with back-to-back contests and events. Please enjoy the video as Mrs. Tromahauser describes the 2013 line-up.
Almost 100 vendor and craft booths will setup around the Rhea County Courthouse lawn and street area. Activities will include a pumpkin pie baking contest, pie eating contest, coloring contest, hayrides, “Scary-oke” (Karaoke), a free movie (at Centennial Park) and the always popular Costume Contest on Saturday afternoon. Check the Pumpkinfest schedule for registration deadlines for the different contests. The downtown merchant and vendor trick-or-treating will occur Saturday form 5-8 pm.
