Bryan College – Luke 14: Fun Day on the Hill
Tuesday, October 8, 2013
Bryan hosted their first annual “Luke 14: Fun Day on the Hill”. Over 47 students with developmental issues from the Rhea County School System were entertained by students and faculty on the Bryan College Campus. The students were paired up with a “buddy” from Bryan College and were treated to carnival games in the gym and parachute games outside. According to the Bryan website, “FUN DAY ON THE HILL is providing a wonderful opportunity for us to live out Bryan’s mission of educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.”
Please enjoy the video featuring Bryan’s Luke 14: Fun Day on the Hill and their Community Outreach program. The video includes in-depth interview with Mrs. Corinne Livesay – Bryan’s Director of Special Projects.
Bryan College – Community Service Day
Bryan students went to over 60 locations in Rhea County to perform service for churches, senior centers, and many more. According to Bryan’s website, “The all-college service day is an expression of our commitment to our community — we want to be a valued neighbor in Rhea County, and we want to be known for our Christ-like love. Biblically speaking, service is an expression of true worship; therefore, we have combined our day of prayer and day of service, including strong elements of prayer leading up to and throughout our day in the community.”
We are so blessed to have such a wonderful neighbor in Bryan College. Please visit their website at http://bryan.edu for more information. You are also encouraged to follow them on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/BryanCollege.
