Dayton, Tenn. — Bryan College is proud to announce the addition of a Dual Degree Program with Union University. The Dual Degree Program offers students the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Health Science from Bryan College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Union University in 4.25 years.
Participants in the Dual Degree Program will complete three academic years at Bryan College, fulfilling all liberal arts general education and major requirements, which include the prerequisites for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Accelerated (BSNA) program at Union University.
Health Science majors who are accepted into Union’s BSNA program will spend their fourth academic year with Union, simultaneously fulfilling the remaining 30 hours required for the BS degree from Bryan. Upon completion of the Accelerated BSN program at Union University, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union as well as a Bachelor of Science from Bryan.
Bryan College President Stephen Livesay said, “The Dual Degree Nursing Program is a blessing that we are receiving during an exciting time for Bryan College. Bryan is adding several programs along with this new program, enabling us to further our mission of educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.”
Through the new Dual Degree Program between Bryan College and Union University, participating students will gain a BS degree from Bryan along with a BSN degree from Union after just three years with Bryan and 15 months with Union. Both of these institutions provide a solid education with a Biblical worldview, so these students will be well equipped to enter the health care field and make positive contributions to patients’ lives.
