Bryan College’s Intro to Business class donated the proceeds from their annual $30 challenge to the Women’s Care Center this week.
Asst. Professor Benton Jones said, “This project is a great opportunity for students to learn the value of someone else’s dollar.
They are given a $30 cash investment and have one week to return that investment with profit, accounting for every dollar spent and earned.”
This year, one team made over $70 profit, with a total class profit of $210.
Lisanne Boling, Executive Director of the Women’s Care Center said “We are very honored that the students who worked hard to turn their initial investment of $30 into $210 would want to share that with the Women’s Care Center!”
“It is a true blessing to us and we appreciate these students hearts and desire to see more men and women helped through this ministry.”
