
With 2nd place finish in Arkansas, Lions jump to # 2 in Nation

Russelville, AK — Bryan College Fishing Team reached a # 2 ranking of after their excellent performance in the Cabela’s Dardanelle Derby at Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas. Bryan Fishing team headed into Arkansas with 6th place ranking nationally.
The Lion fishing team of AJ Barnes, Cole Sands, Chase Kanute, and Conner Thompson finished in 6th place in the Dardanelle Derby and the team of Nathan Bell, Dylan Kear, Connor Fogg, and Chandler Fogg finished at 15th.
The Lions, now trail University of Alabama by 19 points(1263-1282). There are 334 teams in the Association of Collegiate Anglers. Major Colleges as well as smaller Colleges are included in the count and they are spread from Pennsylvania to Florida to California. Four teams from Tennessee are in the top 10, including University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
There are 15 anglers on the Bryan roster, including two Rhea County graduates, Dylan Pritchett and Jalen Smith.
