All day Benefit for Kenneth Stout to help with medical expenses for cancer

Evensville, TN — The Benefit for Kenneth Stout is Saturday, November 7th, beginning at 9 am.  Keith has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.  Friends and family have come together and created a facebook page Team Stout 125 for the the event.  On Friday, there were over 250 in attendance at the Evensville Volunteer Fire Department “Mud Bog” in Evensville, with all proceeds going to benefit Sargent Kenneth Stout.

Kenneth Stout was at the Mud Bog event and took time to share his situation.

Kenneth said, “I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer about 2 month ago. Started Chemo already and really just getting started.

“Looking at going to MD Anderson in Texas in December.  It is supposed to have the most up-to-date stuff.”

On Saturday, the all day benefit will be held at the Rhea County Fair site, across the road from Rhea Middle School.  That fundraiser begins at 9 am and runs until dark.

Events include a corn hole tournament, Gospel groups from 12-4, live band from 4-6  live auction @ 6 pm.  There will also be horseshoe tournament, turkey shoot,  and 50/50 draw.  There will be plenty of food! We have some gift cards valued at $50 each, two $25 gift certificates from Bimbo’s restaurant, $50 gift certificate to Banjo’s BBQ, handmade bkankets, gift certificates to Unique Hair Salon in Dayton and one for Tennile Smith at Mane Attractions in Spring City, $125 worth of gift cards to Eagle Exxon, $20 gift certificate to La Hacienda in Spring City, one free oil change at Charlie Rogers Ford and one at Crown Motors, fall and Christmas decor, furniture, a Sellus Shimano fishing rod valued at $60, a Abu Garcia Veritas Next Generation winch series fishing rod valued at $100, we will also have tons of baked goods to auction as well.
