Farm fresh locally grown produce market now open.

The American Pride Produce Market located at 3333 Rhea County Highway held their Grand Opening – Ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday April 17, 2017. Dayton Chamber of Commerce officials were on hand for the event.

Locally owned and operated by Lloyd & Diane Swafford and Tyler & Jessica Swafford, the market prides itself on fresh locally grown produce coming straight from the farm directly to the consumer.

The L&D Swafford family farm, located on Dayton Mountain, has been in operation for the last 70 years. Aside from farm fresh produce, the business also carries a variety of other goods such locally produced honey, Amish products including cheese, butters, pie fillings, and jams. They also offer a wide range of spring flowers for planting and hanging baskets.
