Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits expected to open in November

Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits is coming to Dayton. Passing motorist may have already notice the sign in south Dayton announcing their coming. Site preparation has already begun at 3333 Rhea County Highway just below Lowe’s.

Bojangles’ are a Southeastern regional chain of fast food restaurants based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Dayton location will be a company owned restaurant. It will be 3800 square feet, complete with a drive thru, and parking for 43 vehicles.

Construction will be by Ganaway Contractors of Alpharetta, Georgia. The construction company specializes in restaurant and retail construction throughout the southeast. Completion date is expected to be sometime in November, weather permitting.

According to Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits website, it was founded by Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas, the very first Bojangles’ opened in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Opened daily, the southern-inspired fast food chain is known for its Cajun fried chicken and signature sides. Breakfast is served all day long also.

Today the chain has grown to over 700 restaurants located in 12 states. More than just a restaurant Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits is apart of the community. The website states that “We’re right there supporting all those who make our restaurants and company a success.”. Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits partners with many charitable organizations like the American Red Cross, MDA, and Special Olympics.
