Parade highlights the week long Strawberry Festival in Dayton

Dayton, TN —   On Saturday, May 11, 2018, the 2018 Strawberry Festival Parade will once again bring out the crowds as thousands of parade watchers from the surrounding area come to see the parade.  Hopefully parade watchers will bring plenty of sunblock, hats and water to drink.  Predicted temperature for the parade should break the 90 degree mark.

Activities for parade day begin with run walk at 7 am and continue throughout the day.  The Rotary Club Pancake breakfast will also be at 7 am on Saturday at Centennial Park.  Children’s play area near Dayton Courthouse will open at 9 am and close at dark.  The parade will begin at 1 pm down Market Street in Dayton.

Throughout the day, there will be gospel music on courthouse lawn stage and various other types of music at Centennial Park stage until dark.
