With over 276 participants from around the community, The Care Center raised over $44,000 at their annual “Walk for Life” event held in Dayton.

“We are so blessed and honored to have this community behind us,” declared Lisanne Boling, who oversees operations at The Care Center.

“Looking out and seeing all of their faces is a greater encouragement to me than I can put into words. Their excitement is contagious!”

Boling admits she set a very ambitious goal of raising $50,000 during this year’s event, but she wants to everyone know, it’s not too late to get involved.  There’s still time to become a Sponsored Walker and help The Care Center reach that ambitious goal.

She’s encouraging everyone to work a two mile walk into their schedule, just call 775-0019 for more information.

For the churches, students from Bryan College, and many individuals represented at today’s event, Boling says her heart is full of gratitude and appreciation.

“Thank you to EVERYONE who came out and walked with us this morning! You are an incredible blessing to our staff, Board, and all of our clients. We thank you for your support!,” Boling insists.
