Spring City Lions Club host District Meeting, raised $2300

​The Spring City Lions Club hosted the District 12-O Organizational meeting Saturday July 29th 2017 with a BBQ fundraiser event following. The monies from the event will go toward the purchase of a Spot Vision Screener which the club will used to help give free vision screenings to area children.

“The people in our district and in Rhea County really supported the barbecue and we really appreciate them,” states club officer Jim Reed.

Spring City Lions Club gave away a La-Z-Boy Leather Recliner as a door prize which was won by Missy Ogle. The Spring City Lions Club would like to tank everyone who made this event such a success.

Over 80 representatives from across the district were in attendance. The Lions Club Internation District 12-0 represents nearly 50 clubs and reaches from Kentucky to Georgia.
