New Students and those changing schools can register at respective schools: Academic Calendar Released

Rhea County, TN — Students who did not attend school in the Rhea County School System during the School Year 2017-2018, and students who will be changing schools in the Rhea County School System during School Year 2018-2019, can register early by going to their respective school on the following dates:
Frazier Elementary School: July 24-30 from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Graysville Elementary School: July 23-27 from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Rhea Central Elementary: July 23-27 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Rhea Middle School: July 23-27 from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Spring City Elementary: July 23-27 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Spring City Middle School: July 23-27 from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

2018-19 Rhea County School Academic Calendar
Excluded from the new student early registration dates are:
* Rising ninth graders who registered at Rhea County High School this spring,
* Rising sixth graders for Rhea Middle and Spring City Middle who registered in the spring, and
* Kindergarten students who registered in the spring.
Registration requirements for new students previously enrolled in another school system last year are:
2017-2018 Report Card; name, address and phone number of last school attended; immunization records; social security number,and proof of residence (most recent utility bill with correct address-not P.O. box). Students who will be entering school for the first
time must bring their birth certificate or hospital record; immunization and medical record (green form); social security number and proof of residence. Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before August 15, 2018.
OTHER INFORMATION: Monday, August 6, 2018 will be half day for students. NO BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED ON AUGUST 6 AT ANY SCHOOL.
PLEASE NOTE: Monday, August 6, at Rhea Co. High will be for Ninth grade (9th) students ONLY.
ALL STUDENTS, grades 6-8 will report to Rhea Middle and Spring City Middle School on August 6 to pick up their class schedules.
ALL STUDENTS REPORT ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 7 – Buses will provide transportation beginning August 7.
