Lady Eagles run streak to 6 in a row with win against Red Bank on Tuesday

Evensville, TN —  Rhea County Soccer continued their winning streak with a home win 5-1 against Red Bank on Tuesday.  The Lady Ealges have now won 6 games in a row and finally had their scoreless streak broken late in this game.  The Lady Eagles are on record setting pace this year and Coach Justin Smith has the team playing well.

Last night the ball was in the Red Bank end of the field for most of the night and the Lady Eagles kept the goal keep very busy as they took 19 shots on goal.  The Lady Eagles scored very quickly as Senior Hailey Shelby assisted Alexis Ayala  just outside the 18 for first goal 5 minutes in.  Hailey then assisted for the next two goals by Myah Arnold at 20 and 39 minute mark.  Alexis Ayala got her second goal at 46 minute mark and the assist went to Allison Sekura.  The then changed places with Alexis assisting Allison for the final goal of the game for the Lady Eagles at 51 minute mark.  Allison got her 16th birthday present and teammates congratulated her on the goal.

The girls were having fun and Coach Smith was able to get a lot of girls into the game.  The Lady Eagles now get to enjoy the fruits of their labor the rest of the week before returning to action against District foe Stone next Tuesday in a 7 pm game.
