Baylee Shipley and Millie Shadden lead Lady Eagles: Eagles off to slow start

Dayton, TN —  The Rhea County Lady Eagles’ bowling team is off to fast start in 2017 with three wins out of the gate.  The Eagles have started slowly with two losses early in the season.  The Lady Eagles began with wins over Soddy, McMinn County and Hixson, while the Eagles dropped games with Soddy and McMinn County.

Leading the way for the Lady Eagles are Baylee Shipley and Millie Shadden.  Baylee has averaged 184.1 over the first three games, while Millie has a 176.7 average in the first three games.  Millie has been very consistent with only one game below 163, and Baylee has bowled three 200 plus games(214,203,208).

For the Eagles it has been Sophomore Phillip Rogers leading the way with 205.3 average and three 200 plus scores in 2 games(268,243,231).  Senior Timothy Rogers comes in with a 179.7 average.  Freshman Tanner Gaither has a 152.2 average and Sophomore Gabriel Clark is averaging 151.5 through two games.
