Rhea County High Bowling Girls Secure Second In District

Rogers and Shipley lead the way with 781 and 633 Series Scores in Split with Walker Valley

Cleveland, TN —  Rhea County High Bowling team won over Walker Valley 21-6.  Our boys team bowled their season high tonight with total of 3365.  Phillip rogers had a great night with games of 259,279 & 243 for 781 series.  Josh Graham added a series of 589(217,214,158) and Tanner Gaither had a 554 series with high game of 203.  CT Nance is just behind with series of 547 and high game of 199.

Rhea County girls’ team bowled well tonight, but came up short 18-9.  Baylee Shipley leading the way with 633 series and games of 221,209 and 203.  Becca Rogers added 503 series with high game of 210.

Rhea County girls has secured a second place finish in the district and if boys win the remainder of district games, they will secure a second place finish.  Rhea County’s next match will be on Monday, December third.  Boys will face Chattanooga Central and girls will go up against GPS(Girls Preparatory School).  Senior night will be Thursday, December sixth vs Sequatchie County with start times 3:45 for both matches.
