Baylee Shipley rolls 228 Series to lead Rhea into next round

Dayton, TN —  The # 4 Rhea County Lady Eagles bowling team opened district tournament play with 20.5 to 6.5 win over visiting # 5 McMinn County on Monday night in match rolled at Crystal Bowling Lanes in Dayton, Tennessee.  Baylee Shipley, the number one bowler for team and one of the best in the State bowled a 228 series(209.3 average) to lead the Lady Eagles.  Millie Shadden bowled a 521 series(173.7 average) to support Baylee.  See full scores in score sheet below.

Rhea County moves on to second round game on January 4th at home against # 1 seed Walker Valley.  The # 2 Eagles received a first round bye and also will bowl in January 4th against the winner of the # 3 vs # 6 seed game.

District times on January 4th are Girls 8:00 a.m. Boys: 10:30 a.m.. Championship game will be at 1:00 pm.  Times are subject to change.
