Three Rhea County Bowlers do well in State qualifying

Smyrna, TN —  Phillip Rogers misses the cut for State tournament top 6 by 13 pins to finish seventh and Baylee Shipley finishes 11th on the ladies side  She bowled a 173.00 average and for tournament pin total of 1727, and needed 1792 to move on.  Millie Shadden finishes 30th in State quarterfinals.  Congratulations to all of the Eagle bowlers

In previous earlier rounds of bowling, Phillip Rogers qualified 1st place to move on to top 24.  He shot 884 for 4 games. Baylee Shipley qualified 10th to move on also.  Millie Shadden missed cut by 9 pins. She shot 624 and the cutoff was 635.
