Eagles  win 10-2 and 6-3 for sweep at home

April 2018

Evensville, TN —  Rhea County Eagles put together 24 hits in a double header against Stone Memorial at home for a sweep on Stone, with 10-2 and 6-3 wins on the night.

On the night, Blaine Reel stepped up with five hits and four steals on the night to pick up the Iron Eagle Player of the Game award for the night.  For the Eagles, who have struggled to score runs this year, the 24 hits have to give the team confidence going into the rest of the season.  Ross Pendergrass and Baylor Dulaney picked up wins for the Eagles on the mound.

In the 10-2 game, Matt Levi, Dusty Smith, Blaine Reel, Dawson Lytle, and Jace Reel each had two hits.  Blaine added three hits in the 6-3 game for his five total.
