Bryar and Austin Goins are top finishers for Eagles

Nickajack Lake – The Rhea County High School Anglers began their spring season with an outing on Nickajack Lake in Marion County on Saturday.   The team of Bryar and Austin Goins finished 12th to lead the Eagles.  Check below for all Rhea County results.  The Eagles took eight teams to the event.

Rhea County High School Coach Brian Derlak said, “It was good day of fishing.  We never put the puzzle together.  Boys fished hard all day.”

The Eagles will be back in action on March 24th in Bass Master Southern Open on Lay Lake in Alabama.    The Eagles will be taking five teams on the trip.  Lots spotted bass and big large mouth to be caught.

The Junior Anglers will be on Parksville Lake(Ocoee) on March 17 near Polk County.
