Nokian Tyres Launches “Shop Talk” Campaign to Educate Drivers About Tire Safety Issues

DAYTON, Tenn. – Nokian Tyres, a global leader in safety and sustainability, has launched Shop Talk with Nokian Tyres, a multiplatform campaign aimed at informing drivers about important tire safety issues. The company is running the campaign in conjunction with National Tire Safety Week May 20-27.

The Shop Talk campaign provides drivers with a wide array of tire safety advice via enhanced website material, a series of blog articles, social media content and other opportunities for interaction on key safety topics.

Drivers can visit FacebookTwitter and Instagram to interact with the company and its followers about safety issues.

“Safety is the heart of our mission, and we’re taking this opportunity to make sure as many people as possible enjoy safe journeys this summer,” said Hans Dyhrman, director of marketing for Nokian Tyres North America. “We think drivers will appreciate the valuable, entertaining content we’ve offered in the Shop Talk campaign.”

Nokian Tyres’ enhanced tire safety website offers in-depth information about a number of basic-to-advanced safety issues, from how to measure tire pressure to the effect rolling resistance has on a car’s emissions.The company’s blog explores how healthy tire habits can help the environment and outlines a road trip safety checklist, among other topics.

Nokian Tyres is among the tire industry’s leaders when it comes to crafting safe, sustainable products. Next year, the company will begin producing tires at its new factory in Dayton, Tennessee, its first production facility in North America.
