Lady Eagles run record to 17-3 with win: Eagles lose 63-45
Cookeville, TN — The Rhea County basketball teams came away with split on the road at Cookeville on Tuesday evening. Lady Eagle ran their record to 17-3 with the 57-49 win. Eagles dropped their game 63-45 to drop to 14-7 on the year. Micah Black and Mallory Hampton led the way with 23 and 14 points respectively for the Lady Eagles. For the Eagles, Jordan Wilkerson was the only Eagle in double figures with 15 points.
In girl’s basketball scores around the area of interest, Bradley Central remained unbeaten with a 72-22 win over Soddy. East Hamilton dropped to 16-2 with their defeat 56-51 to McMinn County. Stone Memorial ran their record to 14-3 with 78-49 win over Warren County. Cumberland County won 76-67 over White County to run their record to 16-1 and drop White County’s record to 14-4.
In boys action it was Cleveland running record to 12-2 with 65-51 win over Ooltewah. East Hamilton won 79-62 over McMinn to run record to 15-3 for the year. Warren won 52-46 over Stone to move record to 15-3 for the year. Cumberland County won 52-48 over White County to run record to 10-7.
