Blake "Lil Whackem " Wheat just put 42.31 pounds over 3 days off the ledges of Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River and won the NBT National Junior tournament. Awards will be given out tonight at 6 pm Central time. Rhea Middle School Angler Blake Wheat hauls in 42.3 pounds over 3 days

Camden, TN —  Blake “Lil Whackem ” Wheat just put 42.31 pounds over 3 days off the ledges of Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River and won the NBT National Junior tournament. He fished behind one of the best upcoming anglers in the country “Big Hammer” Justin Freeman who I’m pretty sure finished Second on the adult side.

NBT Championship was held June 11-16 2017  on Kentucky Lake out of the Birdsong Resort and Marina in Benton County Tennessee.

Blake finish in Tennessee Junior Championships back in May.

Blake and Rhea County Middle fishing partner Will Travis finished 5th in the Tennessee Junior Fishing Championships held in Spring City in May on the Tennessee Bass National High School/youth tour.
