With squirrel and deer seasons right around the corner, Rhea County Wildlife Resource Officer Jarod Coxey is pleased to announce hunter education classes are coming to Rhea County at Yuchi WMA.

Class will be MondayTuesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week.   7/30, 7/31,  8/2, and 8/3.

Class time will be 6-9 pm each night.  Students will need to attend all classes to be certified.

Students should pre-register online by going to TWRA’s website and find the hunter education link.  Search for the class listed at Yuchi WMA and sign up !  Class size is 35 students and students need to be at least age 10 to be certified.

If students have questions they contact Jarod Coxey  at :  jarod.coxey@tn.gov.

I have attached a direct link to sign up online below.  Students will just need to select the Yuchi WMA class and follow the instructions to sign up.
