FreedomFest begins with Parade and ends with fireworks

July 2, 2016

Graysville, TN —  The FreedomFest Celebration for Independence Day 2016 went well as a Parade began the festivities and then there was the ribbon cutting on the new enclose stage at Kristopher’s Kingdom in downtown Graysville.

There were performances by two bands and a visit from the Lifestar Helicopter, one of six in the fleet in southeastern Tennessee.  The auction began a six with lots of donated items being auctioned off for bringing in funds for the Graysville Volunteer Fire Department.  Throughout the day there were games, plenty of food and much more.  Lots of children braved the heat for playground activities on the very nice Kristopher’s Kingdom playground area that has been redone very nicely.

To cap off the evening were the fireworks to a very nice local crowd and fireworks were quite loud and colorful and the crowd seemed to enjoy the show.
