Evensville’s Jacob Griffin Serves as Senate Page

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Jake Griffin, a homeschooled sophomore from Evensville, acted as a page for the State Senate on Monday, March 13, 2017. Jake was sponsored by State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston).

Jake was given the educational opportunity to experience an up close look at the daily proceedings of a Senate session. His duties consisted of making copies, running errands, and distributing materials to members. He also received special recognition on the floor during session. Jake was accompanied by his mother Stacy Griffin.
