Dodgeball Tournament 2013 by “The Measure” Ministry

243

This was Graysville Church of God’s first annual Dodgeball Tournament. The event held at Rhea Elementary was a huge success. Dodgeball Challenge 2013 was organized by associate pastor Adam Mew on behalf of “The Measure” Student Ministry. The youth ministry program focuses on bringing middle and high school students closer to God. Proceeds go to support the student ministry which reaches out to young people in our community and provides them with an opportunity to attend a retreat held in October.

Out of more than 15 registered teams in the tournament, the “Nerds” were last team standing in the double elimination tournament. The 2013 Dodgeball Championship team was made up by Adam Mew, Leslie Shaver, Brian Bishop, Gary Roberts, and Matthew Varner. The team will hold the title as reigning dodgeball champions.
