March 2018

Dayton, TN —  Dayton Prayer Breakfast is planned for Wednesday, April 25, 6:30
A.M. at First Baptist Church Dayton.   Each year the breakfast is coordinatedd with the National Day of Prayer.  This is an important time of gathering believers
together to pray specifically for our city, county, state, and federal leadership.
Although tables are sold for the event and fund a worthy community project each year,
additional donations are needed to underwrite the event itself for food, supplies, promotion, and our keynote speaker.

Author and speaker Dr. Rosalie de Rosset will bring the keynote address.   A Bryan College
graduate, she is a professor at Moody Bible Institute, has been guest host for
WMBI, and is a popular speaker and seminar leader with many additional accomplishments.

Last year our community donation recipient was Blazing Hope Ranch.  This year’s recipient
will be The Care Center’s Edge Program, educating high school students in abstinence
and character. All monetary donations go directly through our Community Partners
for Christ bank account at 1st Bank of Tennessee, and these are used only for the
Prayer Breakfast needs and the community donation described. Donations of $100 or
more provide a complimentary table of six for your church.

Never in the history of our nation has there been a greater need for godly leadership
and unity. This year’s Day of Prayer theme is Pray Unity, based on Ephesians 4:3:
“Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Your
support of this event by prayer, involvement, and funding are greatly needed and appreciated.

In additon, if you are willing, please promote this community event in your
fellowship, including it in your church calendar and posting in your newsletters and bulletin.
We will soon have posters available, and if you desire bulliten inserts, a pdf will be
available for you to copy by emailing susanlynnespivey@gmail.com.
Thank you for your help. If you have any questions, please call Dawn at 775-9159.
