Dayton City Sweatbees Football continues to roll with a monster, 38-14, win over county line rival Sale Creek Panthers.  The win brings their record 2-1, a first for Coach Paige Hughes at Dayton City.

“We jumped on them pretty quick,” said Hughes noting a 30-6 lead at halftime.

Standouts include Tyler Dupree who had two touchdowns.  His first put the finishing touches on a monster run by fellow back, Marcus Garcia.

Elijah Davis shined on the Sweatbee defense.  Davis is credited with an interception which he returned for a score.  Kole Smith also had a touchdown in the Sweatbees effort.

“We’re in an upswing right now. It’s an exciting time for DCS,” said Hughes.

“Next week we’ve got Bledsoe and the competition will step up a bit.  We’re gonna continue to play out the rest of the year and see how it goes.”
