Sweat Bees Use Big Plays for Big Win

Sale Creek, TN —  Dayton City School football team evened their record at three wins against three losses by defeating Sale Creek Middle School 42–12 on Thursday night.  In the first quarter Bryce Dupre scored on a one yard run, with Ethan Davis adding the PAT. The rest of the scoring for the Bees, Dupre with a fifty-five TD run, Rex Pendergrass with the PAT,  Pendergrass fifty-yard TD run, PAT failed, Pendergrass forty- yard reception for TD from Dupre, PAT by Davis.

Sale Creek scores on a nice run by Nick Hall.  Half-time score Bees 30 Panthers 6. The second half started with Ethan Davis scoring on a seventy-yard run, Dupre scored the last six points with a fifty-five yard run and Nick Hall added another score for the Panthers.  In all the Bees scored five touchdowns of 40 yards or more in length.

Stand-outs on the defensive end for the Bees was Dawson Mickel, Cory McKinney and Aaron Merritt.  Dayton City travels to Harriman on Thursday 9/20/18 for a conference match-up.
