Dayton City Headed to Playoffs With Big Win

Harriman, TN —  Dayton City School defeats Harriman 28 to 0 and moves record to four wins against three losses and earn spot in the post season playoffs.   All of Dayton City’s scoring came in the first half on touchdown runs by Rex Pendergrass, Bryce Dupre, Ethan Davis and Kole Smith.   Bryce Dupre and Kole Smith added two point conversion runs for the 28 points total.  On the defensive end Hayden Swafford and Ethan Robinson were a force. Kole Smith recovered a fumble. The Sweat Bees have an open date next week and end the regular season on October 4th at Silverdale with scheduled 6 pm kickoff.  First round of playoffs are scheduled for October 11, 2018 and Dayton City will travel to play in that game at Wartburg.  If successful, the Sweat Bees play on the next two Thursdays, with championship game scheduled for October 27, 2018.
