NASHVILLE — Daniel Clark, 28, of Dayton was already on law enforcement’s radar after disappearing with Rhea County teenager Trinity Quinn (15) earlier this week.
Now Clark is wanted in Nashville for shooting of an Exxon Convenient store clerk to death in Nashville. The Nashville Police Department is encouraging anyone with information to call them directly at 615-742-7463.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. last night (Tuesday) on the Charlotte Pike just off interstate 40. Police have identified the victim as 58-year-old John Daniel Stevens.
Nashville Police say Clark’s minivan was recovered in a nearby parking lot, and that “both could be on foot.”
Officers are canvassing the area and using the Metro police helicopter and SWAT team officers to find Clark and Quinn. Units are searching the area near Brookmeade Elementary School.
Quinn was described by Dayton police as 5 feet tall with red hair and blue eyes, weighing 110 pounds.
Clark is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 168 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
