Rhea County High Bowling team recognizes achievements of bowlers
Dayton, TN — The Rhea County High School bowling team held their annual banquet and after a fine meal, took time to recognize the milestones, contributions and achievements of bowlers, coaches and volunteers.
After a successful season that did not bring the hoped for results as a team, there was still plenty to be proud of and to recognize. The boys ended the regular season at 9-5 and girls at 8-5. Three bowlers went to the State as individual bowlers and both teams had good records on the year. This awards banquet was also about rewarding career achievements, especially for the seniors. Five seniors received jackets with names, going back to an old time tradition. Those five seniors were Mikayla Snider, Tori Kaylor, Aaron Cates, Millie Shadden and Timothy Rogers.
