McCoy wins Spring City, Strawberry and Rhea County Fair crowns

October 7, 2017

Spring City, TN —  Bailey McCoy holds three different pageant crowns, all at the same time.  Bailey has been busy winning pageants over the last year.  She began with the Junior Miss Spring City crown.  Bay won the Spring City Scholarship Pageant first back in March 2017.  She the won the Strawberry Pageant in April and lastly she won Fairest of the Fair in August.

Bailey is a freshman at Rhea County High School from Spring City.  She is cheerleader on the Rhea County High School Cheer team.  One of Bailey’s interests away from school and pageants is hunting.  Bailey is also a good student, finishing top 10 in her class at Spring City Middle School.

Bailey began doing pageants when she was around 2 years old and won the Tot Miss Strawberry in 2006.  The rest is history.  Bailey or Bay as she is known by so many has won total of 9 crowns over the years.  Bailey has been content with only entering local pageants up to now, but in the future may venture out of Rhea County.

Bailey said, “It was pretty exciting.  It is what I like to do, so when I succeed in it, it makes me happy.”

“I liked dressing up as a young kid.  I hope to continue to pursue pageants in the future.”

“Getting ready for a pageant is an all day process.  Get dressed, get hair done, get ready for interview, change hair, change dress.”
