Good crowd braved the elements to see nice parade

Spring City, TN —  The 54th annual Spring City Christmas Parade announced the winners for the parade on Saturday in downtown Spring City.  A good crowd braved the elements to watch very nice parade.  Parade had all the elements necessary for fun day with bands, floats, ball teams, local city and county officials, singing and a nice crowd to watch.

2017 Christmas Parade Grand Marshal. Mrs Judith dedicates countless selfless hours to several local clubs, her church, the Chamber, her friends and most importantly her family.

Several winners for parade and decoration were announced.

Winners for the parade this year were:

Marching Band- Rhea County High School Golden Eagle Band
Vehicle- Rhea County Fair
Float- Frostbite House of Prayer Church
Walking- Ohana Youth Group
Horse- Cold Springs Family Far

Pictured receiving the $25 Visa gift card, donated by First Bank of Tennessee, is Director Bob Piolatto and Chamber Board Member Michelle Ray.

Steve and Barbara Rigsby received the Best Nighttime Residential Decoration award.  The Rigsby family donated their Visa gift card, donated by SouthEast Bank, to the Toys for Children organization to purchase toys for local children.
